Sentinels Soccer Club Coaching Staff — Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister

Our Coaches

Collegiate athletes and experienced trainers who put player development first.

The Sentinels coaching staff combines college and semi-pro playing experience with a shared commitment to youth development. Our Director of Coaching holds USSF and NSCAA licenses; our staff coaches include former collegiate athletes who understand what it takes to grow as a player and as a person. We coach the whole player.

Our Coaching Philosophy

We believe soccer is a vehicle for growth. Every child who joins Sentinels is met where they are and challenged to become better than they were yesterday. Our coaches are here to nurture confidence, sharpen skill, and build the character that carries into school, family, and every part of life after the whistle.

Development is not one-size-fits-all. A five-year-old learning to trap a ball, a twelve-year-old fighting for a starting spot, and a high schooler chasing a college roster each need a different kind of coaching — but all of them deserve the same care, patience, and belief. That is the Sentinels standard, and every coach on our staff holds themselves to it.

We teach the technical foundations — dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, positioning. We also teach the harder lessons: how to lose, how to lead, how to keep working when it is not easy, and how to lift teammates up on the days they need it most. Those are the skills that outlast any season.
