My soccer/football life started in 1980 when I started playing for my local rec team. I caught the bug for the love of the game right after I started to play. Played 4 years Varsity in High School. In 1987 was selected to play for the US Youth National Team for a 3-week tour in South America playing 10-12 games. Unfortunately, I was not able to go on the tour.

In 1987 I started my coaching career. Since then I’ve coached Boys & Girls Rec to Comp teams. HS Boys & Girls JV and Varsity Teams. Boys, Girls, Men’s & Women’s Futsal Teams. Have Coached a Men’s Pro Futsal Team in the NAPFL & NPL Futsal League. I was a League Official for the Gilroy Futsal League.

I started with Sentinels Soccer Club in 2015 as a Team Manager. In 2017/18 was a Futsal Trainer for a few teams.

Currently Goalkeeper coach for Sentinels, Christopher HS Var & JV Boy’s and soon will be GK Coach for Gavilan College Men’s Soccer program.

I hold a US Soccer Grassroots License, United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 1 diploma and Futsal Level 1 License.

Why do you love soccer? 
The team play, with having to think on the fly on how to break down the other team to score and how to stop them from scoring.

What do you enjoy most about coaching?
Watching the players learn the game and improve their skills and to think for themselves.
